Installed MODs [Updated 4/25/08]

The following is a comprehensive list of all MODs installed on WTATA.
Links are provided, when available, for other aspiring admins.

EasyMOD - Allows the easy[ier] installation of phpBB mods.

Users In Last 24 Hours - Shows the number of users that have visited in the last 24 hours.

Quick Topic Return - After submitting/adding to a topic, there is a minimal wait during the "your message has been successfully posted" message. (Search for palo's post in that thread for the specific code)

Last Topic Display - Shows the last topic that was posted/modified to the right of each forum.

Quick Reply - Obvious.

Mods Can't Edit Admins - Moderators are unable to delete/edit administrator posts.

The Humanizer - Adds an extra field to the registration process to [attempt to] thwart spam bots.

Prune User Posts - Allows the administrator to delete all posts of a specific user at once.

Admin User List - Allows the administrator to view a matrix of all forum users.

Gender - Displays the gender of each user, if selected.

Count PM - In the PM area, displays the number of PM's in one's Inbox, Sentbox, Outbox, Savebox.

Multiple BBCode Mod - Required for any other BBCode Mods.

BBCode Strikethrough - Does this.

L-C-R BBCode - Centers and Right-Justifies text and images.

Extended PM Information - Sends actual PM information to recipient's e-mail inbox.

Double Post Control - Attempts to control users [accidentally] double posting (due to server issues, etc) - The infamous Submit Button Doubleclick.

Palm Device Skin - Skin compatible for browsing forum on Palm devices.

PM Popup Blocker Fix - Attempts to allow the PM notification popup when browsers are blocking popups.

File Attachment Mod - Support for file attachments.

Last Visited - Shows when the user has last visited the forum.

Stop Author Count - When an author views his own thread it doesn't increase the View Count. Useful when reviewing/rewriting your thread.

Rank Image Mod - For Admin use only... helps clarify the ranks table.

Improved IP Whois - For Admin use only (mods, too, maybe)... slightly improved IP info.

phpBB Version Changer - For Admin use only... When updating phpBB, use this to change the version number.

E-Mail Ban Control Mod - For Admin use only... slightly improves ban masking for email addresses.

Mods See Hidden Users - Obvious.

LMOA - Log Me On Auto. The little checkbox next to your username/pass is checked by default now.

Posts Since Last Visit - Displays the number of new posts since last visit. Upper right-hand corner.

Admin/Mod Flood Lift - Flood restriction is lifted for Admins & Mods.

LEV E-mail System - For Admin use only, greater improves spam bot fighting.

Birthdays - Seen in Profile and Upcoming Birthdays on Index page.

Last Post Mod - Adds last post info to index page. Example:

Quick Redirect - Redirects faster [almost] ALL confirmation pages (message has been accepted/deleted/etc).

Simple Subforums - Adds the ability to have subforums for individual forums.

Admin Toolkit - Has a bunch of admin features phpBB doesn't have by itself.

Edit Notes: When you edit your thread, you can leave a reason.

Min Posts Required: Requires a minimum number of posts for a new user to enter a forum (for Direct Downloads).

Post Associator: Allows you to associate guest posts to a registered user. Helps when Henway screws something up!

Flag MOD: Allows users to set their country flag.

Anti Back-To-Back Posting: Prevents a user from posting to a thread if they're the last poster to that same thread.

Spell Check: 3rd party spelling checker.

Report Posts: Allows users to report negative posts to mods/admins.

Post Numbers: Adds the post number to each post in a thread. IE, this post is #1, the one below it #2, etc.

Admin/Mod Flood Lift - Flood restriction is lifted for Admins & Mods. Edited this to work with PM's, as well.

Mass PM: Allows regusers, mods, admins to send mass PM's. Configurable.

Prevent Any Layout From Being Broken: Over-Width Images and Text-Strings Fix.

Search By Thread Title Only: Obvious.

Signature In Profile: Adds one's signature to their profile.

Rank In Profile: Adds one's user rank image to their profile.

Show/Hide Avatars and/or Signatures: In your profile, you can select to show or hide avatars and/or signatures; the goal being to speed page load times.

Username Links To Profile: In threads, your username will now be a hyperlink to your profile, instead of just basic text.

Usergroup Membership Displayed: Near your avatar in threads, will now be a listing of which usergroups members are a part of. This is more for my use than anything else.

Reputation System: Allows users to positively or negatively rank each other based on something like karma.

PM Notifier in CSS Windows: Attempts to bypass popup blockers and notify users of a new PM.

IP Search: Allows you to search for a user based on an IP mask.

phpFreeChat: A nifty little chat box.

Custom Pages: Allows you to create custom php pages with phpBB's headers and footers implemented.

Always Show Edited By: When a user edits their posts you are supposed to see Edited By <username> at the bottom of their post. Due to a flaw in phpBB, this will not show when there are no replies underneath it. This mod fixes that.

Edit History: Allows mods/admins to see all versions of a post as it has been edited. Somewhat similiar to Google Cache, and MS Word offers this, too. Attention installers: The install.txt was rushed, you need to manually edit posting.php and another in /includes

Disabled Board MSG: When disabling your board, you can now set a customized reason.

Delete/Move/Lock Images to Text: Although I didn't use this mod (I just took its idea), this will change the delete, move, lock, split icons to text.

Usergroups In Profile: Allows you to see which usergroups a member belongs to by visiting their profile.

Filter Usergroups: Allows you to filter the usergroups matrix. Dunno why phpBB never implemented this...

Goto Specific Page: In extremely long threads you cannot easily go to say, page 50 out of 200 pages. This mod allows you to do just that.

Group Subscription Mod: This extremely extensive mod allows users to pay by paypal and then automatically be granted access to otherwise restricted subforums.

Google Bot Detector: For admins, creates a list of when the Google Bot(s) crawl your site.

Who Viewed Topic: Allows anyone (or mods/admins only) to see who has viewed a topic and at what time. Handy!

Who Viewed My Profile: Displays a matrix of who has recently viewed your profile. Dandy!

Who Is Online IPs: Shows the IP addresses of those currently browsing the forum. Only admins/mods can view.

Log Registering IP: Logs the IP when a user registers on a phpBB forum.

IP Tracker: Took this from phpbbhacks.com and modified it to suit my own needs.

Export PMs: Will allow you to save your private messages to local disk.
